The Rally on The River has had a few names, and a few more bands over the years, and I like the direction it's going.  I've seen Blue oyster Cult play there, and Jackyl, Molly Hatchet, and scores of local and regional bands over the years.  The music is almost a much a part of the Rally as the bikes.  And this year, I think the strongest band yet will play tonight.  Jack Russel's Great White will take the main stage at about 9:30--and based on his attitude and still-stinging voice, I expect them to be the best show ever at Rally on The River!

We interviewed him this morning, and he is truly humbled at the idea that his music played a part in so many lives.  They were the anti-glam hair band in the 80's.  Hair, yes, but no hair spray (well, maybe a touch--).  But their tunes were solid rockers, or tear-jerking slow jams that sounded equally great on cassette thru your best-I-could-get-for-the-money-I-had car stereo!  looking forward to seeing Jack Russell tonight...tear it up!
