Gallagher Coming to the iWireless Center

The last time I saw Gallagher was around 2006 or 2007. He was doing a weekend of shows down at the old Penguins Comedy Club, back when it was still at the Isle of Capri.

Every single one of his shows was sold out for the weekend and he did not disappoint. He went through all his old material and even some new stuff. I remember him doing a whole bit about patriotism that killed. Then towards the end of the show he grabbed his trusty hammer and proceeded to smash everything from the watermelons he famous for, to Jello, to plates of mustard.

Now he's coming to the iWireless Center and not only is he bringing his hammer with him but also, Artie Fletcher for their Joke's On You Comedy Tour at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. Special guest The Fry Daddies will also be playing.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2 and are $20, $25, $35. A limited number of $50 "smash zone" seats will also be available at the iWireless Center box office. Contact them by phone at 800-745-3000, and online at ticketmaster.com.
