Somebody finally won the $1.6 billion Mega Millions last night and it wasn't you. The single winning ticket was sold in South Carolina.

But whoever won that giant chunk of change will have to share part of their jackpot with some Iowans who came really close to winning it all. Of the 106,564 tickets purchased in Iowa, four of them came within one number of matching all the numbers.

If you haven't checked your ticket yet, here are the winning numbers: 5 - 28 - 62 - 65 - 70 and 5 for the Mega Ball. I'd say don't bother checking, but you might have won $2.

One of the four partial-winning tickets I mentioned earlier did win $1 million by matching the first five numbers and missing the Mega Ball. The three others matched four of the first five and matched the Mega Ball, they only get a measly $10,000.

I gotta say, I'm happy I didn't win anything. Can you imagine being just ONE number away from being a billionaire? Actually, somebody in the Quad Cities is one of those people.
