Four Baby Squirrels Found with Tails Tangled Together

A good Samaritan was walking along in Bangor, Maine when he noticed four baby squirrels that were tangled together by their tails and were about to be lunch for a stray cat.

Andrew Day says that you can hear their mother screaming in the video, “She was nearby with them, sort of escorting them across the street. When the cat arrived, she jumped up a tree and was kind of squawking the whole time.”

Day, along with his father, put the rodents in a box and let them calm down. After putting on some thick gloves, the pair worked to separate the squirrels.
