Florida Man Tells Cops His Name is “Ben Dover”

It puts a smile on my face seeing the next generation recycling comedy material that hasn't been relevant since the 90s.

A police officer in Palm Harbor, Florida was attempting to kick a guy out of a closed park on Tuesday night. Of course the man didn't want to go, so the cop was going to write him a citation for trespassing.

When asked his name, the guy said his name was "Ben Dover." He then gave the cop the middle finger and ran off.

The office was able to catch him and, it turns out, "Ben Dover" is actually Andrew Leighton. The 22-year-old was arrested and charged with obstruction by a disguised person and resisting an officer.
