First “Star Wars” Fan to See “The Force Awakens” Has Died

"Star Wars" fan Daniel Fleetwood who saw an early screening of "The Force Awakens" lost his battle with spindle cell sarcoma and has passed away at the age of 32.

He was diagnosed with the rare connective tissue cancer in July. doctors gave him only two months to live.

Daniel put up an amazing fight to the very end. He is now one with God and with the force. He passed in his sleep and in peace. He will always be my idol and my hero. Daniel's last wish was to see the seventh installment in the "Star Wars" series before his time was up. Last week, Daniel and his wife Ashley were treated to an early screening of the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".
