Fan Throws Back Homerun Ball and Hits Brett Gardner
Shortly after Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays hit a home run in New York yesterday. The Yankee fan who ended up with the ball decided to throw it back onto the field, hitting Yankees' Brett Gardner.
Gardner sustained a minor bump on his head, but did not come out of the game and said he was fine afterward.
"It's unfortunate it hit me where it did, but it is what it is," Gardner said. "I got a hard head, so it's all good."
