Benefit For Baby Reid

This Sunday it's a car show, and bags tournament, and taco dinner benefiting Baby Reid at Scott Family Park in Colona, IL.

Reid started having uncontrollable seizures and was in a medically induced coma for 5 weeks. Unfortunately, this beautiful baby has been diagnosed with a devastating degenerative neurological disease – Alpers-Huttonlocher Syndrome. There is no cure and no treatment. She remains in the Peoria PICU. She is not on the sedation medication anymore but still hasn't really woken up. She is finally off the ventilator but continues to struggle to breathe on her own. Her parents have only left the hospital a handful of times since February to spend time with their other son and prepare their house for bringing her home.

All funds raised will be used to help offset the unimaginable medical costs Reid’s parents are facing, and will continue to face as she fights her battle against Alpers.
