An 18-year-old escaped inmate channeled his inner Bo and Luke Duke while leading police on a high speed chase that ended with a stolen truck going airborne.

The chase began when a sheriff's deputy pulled over a speeding Toyota Tacoma. As the deputy was talking to the driver outside of the vehicle, the passenger slid over and drove away with the truck.

Kevonte Dekorey Austin, an escaped work-release participant, then lead authorities on a chase that reached speeds of 115 mph. The escapee lost control after he ran over spike strips.

The pickup truck went airborne and landed on a parked car with its driver still inside. Barbara Harlon was unharmed, "I felt around to see if I was hurt and could tell that I was okay."

Austin was last seen at his place of employment on February 8th. The teen was in jail for car theft and probation violation, authorities believe he stole an employees truck.
