Tuesday Morning we put in a few extra hours after 10AM, hopped into a limo and made the 3 hours trek to 3Floyds Brewery and Pub in Munster, Indiana.  We took along with us a couple of guys who turned out to be bigger beer enthusiasts than even we are.  Tony and Marcus gave us an impromptu brewing seminar, while we sampled a few craft beers during the trip.  To stay true to our roots, we also shotgunned a Bud Light at a gas stop in Morris, Il.

Much like the legendary Bandit and trusty beer-hauling sidekick Snowman did in the classic 'Smokey and the Bandit' we traversed many counties, and state lines to grab lunch and a few beers.  Unlike the 'Bandit' story we weren't shadowed by law enforcement the whole way.

Mack made a beer-drinking road trip CD of righteous jams (I'm not sure how Tiny Tim's 'Tiptoe Through The Tulips' fits in, but who am I to judge)

We arrived safely at 3Floyds thanks to Jeff from Luxury Limo, and were greeted with no wait for seating, and miraculously, they had just finished bottling their famous small batch 'Zombie Dust!'  This beer's periodic release is greeted by beer lovers with nothing short of bedlam, immediately selling out every batch. we were lucky to be there when lightning struck--stocking up the limo, making the Bandit proud!

Mostly, after all was said and done, we had a great day, met some great guys, and food and drink aplenty.
