21-year-old David Shepard ended up in the emergency room after illegally entering Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot, North Dakota and taunting a bear.

Shepard and 23-year-old Cody Nelson Kage broke into the zoo late Saturday night. Police report that Shepard was hurt after he scaled the fence at the Zoo and then stuck his arm into the bear enclosure. Officers were notified after they were contacted by the hospital where Shepard was treated.

Both men are being charged with Criminal Trespass, a Class C Felony. Reports say that both were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
