Just a reminder to watch the road this time of year.  Harvest time is here and while that may be exciting to my 5 year old boy as he watches the neighbors corn disappear, it could be dangerous to drivers and farmers alike.

According to www.public-health.uiowa.edu: Farm equipment crashes are not just a rural problem. About 70% of crashes involving farm equipment occur in rural zip codes, while 30% occur in urban zip codes.

Be patient when those tractors are putzing down the road at mach 14mph.  Pass safely so we can befriend the farmers and get them to tell us where that weed patch popped up.
