Police in Columbus, Indiana were patrolling last Friday morning when a car pulled up behind them and started honking and waving at them.

They pulled over to see if the driver needed help and he blew right past them. When the officers noticed the car only had one working brake light, they tried to pull him over, but he wouldn't stop.

28-year-old Jacob Waltermire led them on about a mile-long chase before he pulled into a parking lot. His work parking lot.

He was trying not to be late to work. That's why he honked at the cops and refused to pull over. Instead of being late, he missed work altogether and was charged with felony resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
