Doctors in India Remove Live Cockroach From Woman’s Skull

This is a situation right out of a nightmare. A woman in southeast India woke up to find that a cockroach had crawled up her nose while she slept.

The 42-year-old was taken to a medical clinic, “I could not explain the feeling, but I was sure it was some insect,” she said. “There was a tingling, crawling sensation. Whenever it moved, it gave me a burning sensation in my eyes.”

The doctors found the bug nestled against the part of the skull in between her eyes. With the use of a nasal endoscope, they were able to remove it. You can see part of the procedure below:
