“Dirty Dancing” Lift Practice Knocks Couple Out

Who doesn't remember that scene from "Dirty Dancing"? Jennifer Grey leaping into Patrick Swayze's arms as he lifts her above the crowd. That's not how it played out for this couple.

Andy Price and fiance Sharon wanted to recreate that scene at their wedding and had been practicing the lift. After having a few drinks, they thought they'd give it a go again. Practice makes perfect after all.

The attempt ended up winding Sharon and knocking Andy unconscious, leaving the pair sprawled out on the ground. The crowd at first thought they were pretending, but realized they weren't and called an ambulance.
