Des Moines Robber Foiled Twice by Being Too Early

It's always great to try to cross off the biggest item from your to-do list early in the morning. And this guy damn sure tried.

A man went to the Marine Credit Union in West Des Moines around 8:15 A.M. last Wednesday to rob the place. He had a hoodie covering his head, sunglasses covering his eyes, and a red bandana covering his face.

There was just one problem... The bank didn't open until 11:00 A.M. He yanked on the doors for a minute, realized they were locked, and took off.

Then, a half hour later, he went to a First National Bank about a mile away to try to rob them, but they were also closed until 9:00 A.M. So the guy gave up on his mission.

The cops are trying to track him down.
