What's the longest you were able to pop a wheelie on your bike as a kid? I think my record was a whopping four inches or something like that.

Kurt Osburn is putting us all to shame in that regard. The 49-year-old cyclist is currently working his way across the country by only using one wheel of his bicycle. He started at the Santa Monica Pier on October 12th and is traveling 2,900 miles to Cocoa Beach, Florida.

As of Monday, he's rode 500 miles on his back wheel and made it to Tucson, Arizona.

His end goal is to break his own Guinness World Record and to raise funds for children's disability charities. Kurt's previous record was set when rode from Hollywood to Orlando in 75 days back in 1999. He wants to finish his current ride in only 45 days.
