A couple in Virginia who've been remodeling their home had to put everything on hold on Monday when they found a World War Two bazooka rocket in one of their walls.

Fire officials were called to the Newport News home just before 9 PM on Monday. The couple had broken into a wall and discovered the explosive device, later identified as an M6 60 Caliber Bazooka anti-tank rocket.

A bomb squad was brought in and they determined that the device was safe to be removed from the building. After securing the rocket launcher, it will be turned over to the military.
