Clairvoyant Event Cancelled Due to “Unforeseen Circumstances”

If a clairvoyant event gets cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances," was it worth going to in the first place?

The Irvine Royal Academy in Scotland was set to host a night centered around the supernatural ability to see into the future. They cancelled it because of something nobody could see.

The school tweeted out, "Our clairvoyant night tonight has had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances." Which of course didn't catch any snark on Twitter... I'm kidding, the jokes came rolling in instantly.

The obvious question being asked was, "Surely those circumstances could have been predicted?" Some people claimed to have gotten their refund before ever buying tickets.
