Cat Alerts Cedar Falls Resident to Fire by Meowing

Dog's may be man's best friend, but there's one cat that is aiming to take that position. A deadly situation was avoided thanks to this feline's incessant meowing.

The unnamed resident claims that their pet cat would not stop meowing at the ceiling of their apartment. Once the resident noted the heat coming from above, they evacuated.

The Cedar Falls fire department found that an electrical fire had started in the attic of the apartment building. No injuries were reported though one unit was displaced.
