Alan Robles of San Antonio was filling up his Mustang early Friday morning when a carjacker stole his car at knife-point, only after Robles taught him how to drive it.

"I just kept thinking about my family, everybody, my girlfriend and my boys, just what it would be like without them," Robles told KENS. "I honestly thought that that was going to be the end of it."

"I kept trying to explain to him ‘you have to engage the clutch,'" Robles said. "I pretty much had to teach him how to steal my car."
