Care Animal Center’s Largest Pet Food Drive To Date!
Their third year turned out to be the largest! The Care Animal Shelter, on Kimberly Road in Davenport, held their annual Furry Friends Food Drive Saturday. Thanks to the countless number of food donations, our local animal shelters will be getting quite a large delivery of supplies!
If you were unable to stop out Saturday, you can still drop off a pet food donation at the Care Animal Shelter this week! (1502 West Kimberly Road)
Find more information about the Care Animal Shelter at their website , or follow them on Facebook here. The food and money raised benefits King's Harvest Pet Rescue Shelter and the Humane Society of Scott County.
The Care Animal Shelter's Furry Friend Food Drive Special was made possible with thanks to Action Towing, Ralston Purina (They donated 5 skids of food!), Lynette Harms, and the many generous public donations!
In closing, I would like to thank the Care Animal Center for inviting 97X to this terrific event. I hope it continues to grow every year.
