Car Thief Tells Police He’s Matthew McConaughey Despite No Resemblance

I guess if you get caught red-handed committing a crime, you've got to throw out some excuse even if it's this terrible.

The cops in Georges Township, Pennsylvania caught 46-year-old Troy Miller trying to steal a car on Sunday. When they asked him for ID, he wouldn't give it up and he told them he was Matthew McConaughey.

But Troy doesn't look anything like Matthew McConaughey. So he was arrested for attempted car theft, providing false identification, and prowling.
