Two people in Montana flipped their car earlier this week while swerving to miss a kangaroo that was in the road. At first the authorities thought it was a joke.

When the trooper with the Montana Highway Patrol arrived however, he saw the culprit. But it more likely an escaped wallaby. Turns out there is a petting zoo near Highway 2 that's on the Fort Belknap Reservation.

The two people in the vehicle sustained some minor injuries after the roll over and are otherwise fine. The trooper did not chase after the animal because it was 4 A.M. and too dark to see.
