Can You Identify The Greatest Rock Bands In Silhouette

I was lucky enough to grow up during the recording some of the greatest rock music ever. I've seen almost all of my bucket-list bands in concert (Jimi Hendrix and the Monkees notwithstanding.)

If you fancy yourself a rock historian, if you are the guy who gets calls from friends about who played on what album, what drummer died choking on a shoelace etc., then these following logos should be no problem for you to identify.  This is the beginner version, with the harder stuff yet to come.  Even Guy Perry could probably get 7 out of these 8.  Good Luck!
