British Woman Uses Hairdryer to Slow Drivers

Here's an ingenious way to get traffic to slow down on your street. Instead a makeshift speed bump or yelling in the street, 64-year-old Jean Brooks just pointed a hairdryer at passing cars.

Brooks of Nottingham, UK stands on her front lawn every day and uses her method to make her street safer. Pointing her fake radar gun at passing vehicles seems to be working too.

"It had to stop," she told BBC. "I have never seen so many people's brake lights go on, and all it is is a hairdryer."
