When 17-year-old Mark Anthony Doyle admitted to stealing from his boss, he was given two options. Either he'd be charged with theft charges or he could dress up and hold a sign by the freeway.

Brent Franklin had over $30,000 worth of jewelry and electronics stolen from his home by the teen he had invited to stay with him.

"I think he's a good kid. I think he made a mistake and this was a tough lesson to learn," Franklin said.

Doyle had to wear a pink shirt, woman's hat, and cartoon character shorts while he stood by the road. The sign he held read: "I stole over 30K from my boss & lied about it. I'm happy to be here."
