Bluesfest 2017 Happens Next Weekend!
Many summer day & nights have been spent sitting in a lawn chair, drinking a beer and tapping my feet along with the blues. Bluesfest is one of my favorite festivals in the QC to bring the family to. I'm so happy to see it back this year. Here's what their Facebook page says to expect!
The Mississippi Valley Blues Festival returns to it's traditional location on the banks of the Mississippi River in LeClaire Park, Davenport, Iowa on Friday June 30 and Saturday July 1, 2017.
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, with music beginning promptly in the Local Scene music tent. The tent stage will also provide music between each set on the Bandshell stage. Music at the Bandshell begins at 5:00 p.m.
On Saturday, July 1 the gates will open at 12:00 p.m. The Local Scene music tent music will start at 12:00 p.m. and will feature local blues bands between each of the Bandshell acts that start at 1:00 p.m.
