Blondie … Really?

It's not that I'm a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame "purist" or anything, but this is the anniversary of Blondie's  induction in to the hall.  Can anybody explain to me why Blondie deserves to be there?  Or better yet, let's get 20 people in a room who like Rock & Roll music and take a vote.  I'd bet Blondie wouldn't get more than two votes!   No, there will not be any lost sleep over this... but are you scratchin' your head too?
