Benefit for QC Musician Doug Norris
This Saturday night (Aug 13) come support a great Quad City musician and all around great guy, Doug Norris. I met Doug back when he was singing for Lefwitch and ruling the QC metal scene. We drank a lot of Jager & talked a lot of music.
The band even traveled from the QC an hour & 1/2 to my home town of Milledgeville for a house show (ie zero money). Didn't expect anything other than to play & have fun! That's the true mark of a good soul. Selflessness. Just looking to help someone else out.
Doug was diagnosed with Parkinsons and has had plenty of medical issues to go along with that, so some good friends are putting on a show in support.
