Axl Rose is Trying to Eradicate “Fat Axl” Memes

You know those "Fat Axl" memes? They're pictures of Axl from a concert in 2010 where he looks particularly chunky along with some kind of food pun. Like, "If you got the money honey, we got your Krispy Kreme."

Well, they've been around for years, and Axl has finally had enough. His people have been sending notices to sites like Google and Facebook, demanding that they take them down.

There's basically no chance Axl will get his way here. In 2013, Beyonce's rep asked Buzzfeed to take down what she called "unflattering" pictures from her Super Bowl performance.

Not only did Buzzfeed not take them down, they posted her email along with them, under the headline, "The 'Unflattering' Photos Beyoncé's Publicist Doesn't Want You To See."
