Arkansas Bridge Finally Collapses Five Hours After Implosion

The bridge was supposed to be down within minutes, but didn't fall until five hours later.

Eight different attempts were made at pulling the bridge down with tugs and cables. Finally, just before 3PM it came crashing down. The 93-year-old bridge was taken down to make room for a new span.
