Arizona Teen Invited to Thanksgiving After Grandma Texts Wrong Number

Holidays bring people together, friends, family, and even strangers. 17-year-old Jamal Hinton of Phoenix is one of those strangers after he received an invitation to Thanksgiving.

Hinton was in class earlier this week when his phone buzzed and he got a text message from a number he didn't recognize. The woman on the other end claimed to be his grandma and even sent a photo to prove it.

When Hinton responded with his own selfie he asked if he was still invited to dinner. The woman's response was a sweet one, "Of course you can. That's what grandma's do...feed every one."
