Area 51 Invaded by “Pokemon GO” Players

Some "Pokemon Go" players took their hunt for pocket monsters to Area 51 in Nevada. There were a ton of Pokemon to catch there and by the looks of it, they were the first people to play there.

Area 51 has always been shrouded in mystery. Is there really proof of extraterrestrial life in there? What kind of secret weapons are they working on?

The guards are also notorious for not messing around at all. If you try getting into Area 51, you're going to have a bad time. But when "Pokemon GO" starts calling, you gotta answer.

A group of players from Frag Hero went on a tour around Area 51 to see what kind of Pokemon they could catch. They found a few PokeStops and some gyms that were completely empty, that means they were the first players in the area.

Then there's these two guys that documented their trip with video. They spent a few hours around the back gate of Area 51 trying to catch Pokemon. The servers for the game kept crashing on them and at one point the guards shut the lights off on them.

They decided to return the next morning and actually ended up catching quite a few Pokemon.
