Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox's dreams will likely be even sweeter in her new home. She recently purchased a mid-century modern home in the Hollywood Hills for $4.3 million.

The news comes from the Los Angeles Times, which notes that the 2,723-square-foot, three-bedroom and three-and-a-half-bathroom property last sold a decade ago for $1.6 million. The house sits on a 33,439-square-foot lot on a hillside overlooking Runyon Canyon Park.

The listing, which had been held by Steve Frankel of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, calls it "one of the finest examples of [architects] Buff and Hensman's classic post and beam styles," noting how its "exquisite architecture and walls of glass seamlessly connect an exceptional modern interior with manicured lawns and gardens against the backdrop of an unparalleled canyon setting."

Even though Lennox's new home, which was built in 1962, has been "meticulously restored to with careful consideration to maintain the historic fabric of the house," including a "classic '60s over-sized brick fireplace," there are elements of modernity, such as a state-of-the-art European kitchen and an infinity pool. The living area is extended via a long balcony, which offers sunset views.

The master suite -- which has a "chic" bath and plenty of closet space -- and a second bedroom are located on the main, upper level; a third bedroom, which has its own patio, is found on the lower level.

Lennox was represented by Jami Nash of Redfin. Check out photos of the house below.
