Alaska Airlines Flight Diverted After Passenger Threatens Crew
Alaska Airlines Flight 769 from Boston to San Diego had to be diverted to Denver International Airport Tuesday night after an intoxicated passenger caused a disturbance on board.
The passenger reportedly became abusive and began threatening the crew and other travelers.
"He was told to calm down by flight crew, and then became agitated and verbally abusive, even issuing a threat to flight crew," airline spokeswoman Ann Zaninovich said. "He got very belligerent, saying, 'OK, but you know that now we are all going to die.' He kept saying, 'I'm not a terrorist but we're going to die.'"
