Acoustic Benefit Show With Red Rocker & Metallica
Sammy Hagar & James Hetfield of Metallica have announced a benefit show with a twist! Acoustic 4 A Cure will fund children’s brain-tumor research at the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Joe Satriani, Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains & Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers are expected to play acoustic sets with surprises here & there.
Metallica are no strangers to the unplugged. In 1997, they did an acoustic show with some special guests that ended up being the version of "Tuesdays Gone" they included on their covers album Garage Inc.
