Actress and model Lily Collins is reaching out to her father Phil Collins in an effort to heal their distant relationship. A newly published open letter states “I forgive the mistakes you made. And although it may seem like it’s too late, it’s not. There’s still so much time to move forward.”
It’s been almost 20 years since an album of new original material was released under the Jethro Tull banner, but Ian Anderson still performs the group’s music. So why put the band to bed? In a new interview he says he isn’t interested in trying to add new material.
Bruce Springsteen’s longtime drummer, Max Weinberg admitted he couldn’t take his son Jay’s place as the drummer in the Iowa band Slipknot. He also said his kid outplayed him on the Springsteen song “Radio Nowhere.”
The iconic artwork Gerald Scarfe created for Pink Floyd‘s The Wall — the original record, the 1982 film adaptation — were crucial towards driving home the brutality of the themes Roger Waters was writing about.
