It’s been 50 years since Tommy was released…but it just got a new song!  The stage show is getting a new production in England and is featuring real people with real disabilities. This inspired Pete Townshend to write a song called Acid Queen 2.

Kinks Frontman Ray Davies Has Been Knighted 

There’s Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Sir Mick Jagger…and now Sir Ray Davies.  The Kinks frontman has been recognized by the Prince of Wales for his services to the arts.

Metallica Announce Dates for European Leg of WorldWired Tour

Metallica have announced they’ll be paring back their normal road dog schedule this time around.  Their World Wire Tour will only see them play 50 or so dates this year…but the good news is, they’ll be touring well into next year too! They’ve added dates in Europe through May of 2018.
