97X Listener Drives in Her First Demo Derby [VIDEO]

Last week brought us the Rock Island County Fair and the chance to put one of our listeners behind the wheel of a demolition derby car.

Jessica was randomly selected from the applicants who have never driven in a demo derby before. The guys over at Kendall Performance & Repair in Milan provided us with the car.

Despite Jessica having no prior derby experience, she did pretty well. She took 5th place out of a total of 19 cars in the heat, not bad! Take a look at the carnage below, stay tuned for the hard hit she took that popped her wheel off.

Kendall Performance did a great job getting the car running and looking good. The other participants of the demo derby did a better job of wrecking it up.
