I can't say much about the first lunar landing, as I was just barely around, but what I do know is that America's space program and the resulting success began a generation of national pride and can-do optimism that suddenly ended right around the Clinton administration.  I can't really say why, but I feel lately like the Eagle is flying low.  When we treat each other poorly, no victory is ever worth it.  So to pop myself out of this funk I'm in, here's Buzz Aldrin popping the dumbass who questioned his integrity and called him a coward. Bam! Nearly knocked him out of his tennis shoes.  Good for you Buzz.  Good for all of us.
